How I Plan to Use this Book with My Kids
I haven’t had a chance to snag a copy for myself yet. If you read the reviews, you’ll see that not everyone loves all of the women included in this book. As with any list like this, there will be controversial figures included. I know there may be women featured in this book that don’t necessarily align with my personal views, but I believe I can still talk with your daughter about these women. We live in a diverse world that includes amazing women in history with all different types of accomplishments. I’ll update once I get my hands on a copy for myself!
Update: Now that I have the book in hand and have had a chance to read through it, I really enjoy it. The book is broken down into the foll0wing categories of amazing women in history:
- Young Motivator
Each section features amazing women and highlights their accomplishments. Since each women’s section is fairly short, it would be a perfect bedtime book. Perfect for girls of boys, this book highlights dozens of women from different races, cultural backgrounds, political parties, and more. Take a peek inside!
